Have you even thought you were over someone and the past was just that? The Past!!! They say if you really want to know if your over something or someone, see them again, then tell me how you feel! It’s true we often say that we’re done and the past is locked away to never be opened again.
Then one day you’re not thinking about it. The door opens or your phone rings and it’s them! You have a million thoughts rushing through your brain!
Some men and women can close a door and never reopen it at all in any shape or form. Then there are some people who feel they can maintain their friendships but from a distance! Then you have those who just want that person in their life at any cost!
The fear of letting go is too great sometimes for a man or woman to handle!
The idea of why wasn’t I good enough?
What did I do so wrong that she got right?
Or what does he give you that I can’t or didn’t try too?
For many these questions can’t be answered they will forever be left as a why?
Jamie Foxx said it best in his song entitled “Why” -
“Behind your lovely eyes, couldn’t see those lovely lies. That kept recurring over the course of time. You could unbreak this glass heart, By just saying we’re not apart, But how can I go on knowing my love is blind?”
Which is true often times it’s the little things we miss until we are forced to see them! Sometimes the hardest part is just being a friend and I’m going to give you the break down on how this works! How sometimes the biggest enemy we have is yourself and not knowing when to walk away!
