If you are looking for a refreshing cocktail to go along with the season do I have the drink for you.
For many years I have been drinking peppermint hot chocolate. And although Starbucks has beat me to my millionaire dreams by selling their own. I figured I’d spice it up in a way that only I can. If you are looking for a seasonal cocktail to lighten up guest at your holiday gatherings or just tired of the same old egg nog…try this recipe.
Ingredients
5 ounces of Chopin vodka
1 ounces of white Creme de Menthe
1ounce of white Creme de Cacao
1/2 ounce of Peppermint Schnapps
Two junior mints
Mini candy canes
The mix
Pour all of your liquid ingredients into a shaker 1/2 full of cracked ice.
Give a good 20 vigorous shakes and let the shaker rest for half a minute.
Take some candy canes put them in a baggie and crush them to a fine consistency
Take a little of the Creme de menthe/de Cacao and moisten the rim of the glasses.
And then place the glasses rim side down in the candy until it is coated.
Strain your lucious peppermint martini into 2 freezing martini glasses.
Place the junior mints in the bottom of the glass.
