I found myself in a store and they were playing alll of my favorite Christmas songs with the wrong renditions.
Christmas isn’t about anything if it’s not about Tradition. But for some reason this year it just didn’t feel like Christmas. A Sentiment my 13 year old son echoed today as we were making our Christmas Meal dinner.
First off he changed my menu today remarking that he didn’t want a turkey like we had in previous years and he preferred a pumpkin pie to my usual chocolate cheese cake.
But like most people I don’t really do well with change. Although It has been coming, As I find myself out shopping 2 days before Christmas this year when I’m normally long done by Black Friday.
I realize that I have to be open to change but on somethings I’m NOT willing to compromise. So As I am laying in bed tonight with my family waiting for Santa to come Watching the 1930s version of A Christmas Carol (in black and white it’s the only one I can tolerate). And Rise to My Christmas ham and Eggs I hope you guys will be sharing this day with the people you love.
And to get you started I compiled a list by my favorite Christmas songs by the only singers I prefer to hear them sung to help you guys get into the mood. And although I am embracing my traditions believe me I am looking forward to the changes that this new year has in store.
